Do you think my husband will notice?

Yesterday was a busy day. And a day of changes.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, it looked like Suzy had found her forever, couch potato, pampered pet home. And today was the day to meet her new “mom” and see if they clicked. I was pretty sure it was going to work, especially since “Sharon” drove clear across the state to meet Suzy!

Of course it appeared to be love at first sight. And Suzy even licked her hand and happily approached her. ( A good sign in my eyes.)

It’s not fun having to re-home dogs, but sometimes it’s necessary and better for the dog. I just can’t keep them all. It makes it so much easier when things fall into place like it did with Suzy. I’m so happy she found such a loving home!

A few hours later, I headed back to the airport ( I met Suzy’s mom there since it’s easy for out-of-town-ers to find) and picked up this cutie!

Her name is Allie. She is bit younger than Suzy, a proven, nurturing mother, and about the same size and color of Suzy. Do you think my husband will notice? 😉

    Mine wouldn’t. Hee hee!

Oh my! That is a tough one. Probably if the little girl didn’t act different around him, but chances are she might be shy of him at first.

Pepper and I will miss Allie when we go to see my folks. She was such a good Mom (my boy was Dad to her litter.) I’m so glad she went to live with someone like you.

I’m not positive, but it looks to me like you brought back the same dog, lolol.
