Hope update

So someone asked for a Hope update:) I posted about her on a thread a few days ago, but probably most people missed it. So thanks for asking about her Marci 😀 )
Hope is doing pretty well; eating, drinking from her water bottle and sometimes the water dish. She is growing (although probably half the weight as her litter mates), feisty, playful, and cute as a button! (Whatever that means?) She’s adorable, ‘nuf said. She sniffles and snuffles a lot, sneezes sometimes and occasionally gets food stuck in her cleft :/ I wipe her nose like a baby’s mom and flush her nose when needed (which she doesn’t like). She plays with her litter mates, but she has her own pen that she sleeps and eats in.

She sleeps in a cat bed. It was the smallest bed I could find. It’s more like a little cube that she can snuggle inside of . That’s a fuzzy ball hanging from the doorway right over her head.
She is ten weeks old this week. At this point we’re still not sure if she will have surgery or not. But the specialist said she would need to be three to four months old before they would do it anyways. So she’s just here being a puppy while we wait for her to get a bit older and then decide which direction we will go with her.
Thanks to all her fans and supporters! <3

Considering where she was , Hope is giving us reaso to hope she will continue to grow and be well taken care of for all her special needs. . Would you mind if I left her name on the list for the vigil ?

Thanks for the update! Just can’t help but have a soft spot for little Hope- we rescued a kitten that had been hit by a car. Among other things, the impact caused a split palate which vets tried to repair twice with no success. Thankfully, he lived a long and good life but had the issue with the runny nose and yucky sneezes! He was worth every tissue and eventually got used to the routine it took to keep him healthy (and clean!) Hope is very lucky to have you!
