Loss

Jules’ baby boy did not survive the night even with my best efforts and contacting experienced people for advice and help.

I don’t know why these things happen. But unfortunately when we are dealing with living creatures, we experience loss. (It’s always worse when they’ve made it through the first week of life fine; gaining and growing, and then all of a sudden something like this happens. And I don’t have an answer…..)

It sucks.

Sometimes I feel like quitting and doing something not so emotionally draining.

But I can’t.

This is my life. And I love what I do, even though it hurts sometimes and gets discouraging.

So I’m off to love on the other puppies and give Hope a big hug <3

    Dear Jennifer –

Please know how sorry we are for your loss. There never is a good reason for this happening – all we can do is love each other and all those around us with all our might, for as long as we are together.

Thank you for all you do.

    much love,

    esther & gino

We believers know there is a Creator of this world, G-d knows when life shall begin and when life must end. For those no longer here the little souls who go back to heaven it is good. Yet for us down here who miss them it is hard. My blessing to you is that you enjoy those who are here and may those lost smile down on you and give you the wonderful energy needed to keep up your amazing job. I too am a quilter and yes the creative energy as the quilt comes together is relaxing and encouraging. Its wonderful that you have a creative outlet for yourself. Wishing you healthy puppies and mommies too. Looking forward to seeing the little ones grow. all the best to you
