After reading our “Transitions” blog post, you may be wondering what’s coming next?

Well, I have exciting news! Apparently, our fall/winter is going to be even busier than our spring and summer were. We got off to a slower than usual (it seemed) start this year with puppies. And I know there are so many of you on the list anxiously awaiting a puppy!

So I’m happy to say besides Jules’ new litter, we have another confirmed pregnancy. It’s one of our brand new moms, Smudgie. (For those that don’t know, Smudgie’s given name is Charity; to go along with our Faith, Hope, Joy, etc theme. But it never got used. She has the cutest little smudge of white on her chin, so she’s always been Smudgie.)

Smudgie is confirmed pregnant (thanks to our new ultrasound machine!) with puppies fathered by Sundae. I’m guessing we will get apricot/red and black & tans pups from these parents.

We also have three more girls in season! Wow, thanks girls for doing girl stuff all together. 😉 hehe

And yes, we will be breeding all three. Sometimes the new girls that have never been bred or had babies don’t always cooperate with our (and the boys’) plans. So in case, we have some “misses”, we have the other proven moms that should get pregnant.

And as soon as we have confirmed these pregnancies we’ll be sharing the details of who is expecting!
