With Allie’s recent passing this update was extra special.

“Hi Jennifer,

I’m mum to Cooper (aka Gallant) from Allie and Dickens’ June 2016 litter.  I’m still following every one of your blog and Instagram posts.  I love keeping up with what you’re all up to, especially Allie, Dickens, and the new puppies and dogs that share a parent with Cooper, like Justice.

I got to work this morning and read your post on losing Allie and Justice.  I’m so sorry you lost two of your babies so soon.  My heart breaks when I read about your losses, but I had to take a moment and go into the bathroom to shed a few tears when I read about Cooper’s dog mom.

I wanted to write you another note as my Pinewood puppy from Allie has brought me so much joy over the last almost 3.5 years.  I wish I could have given her a cuddle and said the biggest thank you.  Cooper is the most loving, loyal and cuddly boy I could ever ask for.  He’s still just as happy and playful as a puppy.  He loves snuggles, playing chase and fetch in the house, the dog park, hikes, jumping around in the snow, and car rides.  He’s such a good, adventurous boy and I can’t even begin to describe how much I cherish him.  I couldn’t imagine my life without him!  I’ve attached a few pictures for you.

My partner and I were just talking this morning about a little sister for Cooper – I’ve already told him I want another Pinewood puppy!  We need to move out of our tiny apartment first!  I hope we can meet again someday.

Though Allie is no longer here, she has produced the most wonderful puppies who have enriched the lives of their human families so much.  I hope that thought and all the happy memories with her and Justice brings you some comfort.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do.
