Amber’s little pups are growing and changing all the time. They’re two weeks old already and some of their eyes are starting to open. Today they weighed anywhere from 15.7 ounces up to 1# 7 ounces. They got their toenails trimmed and ribbons changed or adjusted. They are still at the “mommy only” stage. All they want is mom, Amber. Mom snuggle me, mom clean me, mom love me, mom feed me!

How on earth is it possible to be SO adorable! Just one look through your blog and my day is brighter… usually I ogle the pics more than once!
I had a friend tell be recently that puppies usually end up looking more like their father than their mother. I’d never heard that before. I’ve rescued many a pup, but none of my dogs have ever had a litter of pups. I don’t know why they would favor tend to favor sire over dam, but stranger things are true. What are your thoughts on that?
I don’t think so. The mother contributes half the dna too! Does that mean all children look only like their fathers too? 😉 hehe
