Sky’s puppies turned two weeks old yesterday. Not a lot is happening at this age since they are mostly eating, sleeping and going potty. And not to get too gross, but mom is still cleaning up after them so they’re not at the point where we would be introducing a litter box or even a bigger puppy pen. They crawl around to cuddle with each other or find mom. So at this point staying in the big crate is a better fit and keeps them warm and cozy. If I put them in a small puppy pen they would get lost!

They are getting their toenails trimmed weekly so those needle-fine, sharp nails aren’t scratching mom’s belly as they nurse. We’re are just finishing up ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) as that ends on day 16.

And the most exciting thing about this age is their eyes are starting to open! <3

And it was time to remove the ribbons we’ve been using since birth and change to the para-chord collars. I try to stick with the same or similar colors.
