Covid and pneumonia

If you all saw my Facebook post from a couple days ago, I ended up in the hospital where I still currently am; with Covid and pneumonia. Hubby got it too but his oxygen never tanked like mine did. He never had to come in and is home recuperating. The two local sons has stepped up big time to help take care of their dad and all the animals.

Travis the RN, is now an officially doggie midwife as Amber and Raven have had their puppies under his watchful eye. I do no have any details on the litters. Oakley is overdue. Please pray she delivers without the need of aid and my “nurse” son has to return home tomorrow and then it will be up to the EMT to play nurse/midwife. The son working as a travel tech wrapped up his job in Texas today and is making a mad dash home to help. Please pray for travel mercies for them.

The Poodle pups and Cavapoos from Smudgie are doing well and being looking after. Joy’s babies are growing and got new collars today. I’m sorry the kids are way to busy to do videos or pictures except for these quick ones he took today.

My phone messages, emails, Facebook messages and Instagram messages are backed up but they will all have to wait.

So I’m feeling a bit better everyday. My lungs are the issue and they’ve got my oxygen levels pumping pretty high. I’m doing all the suggestions lung exercises, resting, drinking, moving etc and trying to be the best patient so I can break out of her sooner rather that later. But my nurse told me this morning I’m still looking at 3-5 days here! UGH

Thanks for all the love, support and prayers. It’s all so much appreciated! (P.S. Please pray for my church brother who is just across the hall from me fighting his own fight with Covid).

I’ve been following your blog for some time. So impressed with your puppy method and communication. Even if we never get the chance to submit an application it is still a joy to be a small part of watching these special puppies grow!

Praying mightily for you and your church friend, Jennifer. Also praying for safe travels for your sons as they come and go and your husband as he heals. The good news is you have lots of time to pray-always the best medicine. Your Mamas and puppers are being well cared for and will be great therapy for you when you get home. My bet is it’s definitely soon!🙏🏼❌❌Kim
