We only did one litter of Cuddle Cavapoos. What is a Cuddle Cavapoo? It’s the larger sized Cavapoo with one parent being a small Standard Poodle instead of our regular Cavapoos which have a mini Poodle parent. So puppies from a Cuddle Cavapoo litter usually range in more in the 25-40 lb range.

We haven’t had another litter just because of space limitations. With a bigger mom, none of our regular puppy crate, pens etc really work for her so we had to rig up a different set-up. And our house is not very big to begin with. Although I loved the pups we got from this combo and mom is an absolute sweetheart.

I’d be tempted to do another litter if there were no other moms due at the same time, and I knew I had enough people interested in the larger sized Cavapoos.

But I digress…this was supposed to be a pupdate!

And here is the message I received.

“Hi Jennifer,

Comet will be 18months old on the 10th of Nov. How time flies. He is the sweetest dog ever. He loves people and other dogs. He is the right size for us, is about 29lbs. Loves to give hugs and kisses and his beautiful tail is always wagging. He has a lighter coat now with brown around face and ears that looks really cute.

Everyone in the neighborhood is his friend and he has to meet and greet everyone during his walks. I trained him myself but also took him to some training classes where the trainer wondered why he was there as he knew all the commands and listened. A 4.0 Student!!!

I work from home and he is really good at lying around most of the day with 30min walks in my break and just entertaining himself with his toys or sitting on the deck looking at squirrels, airplanes and neighbors.

His best feature is when he tilts his head when you talk to him.  It is hilarious as he tries to pick out words like play, walk, grandma, Kizie ( his friend), ball, etc. and respond.  He has a large vocabulary. One smart dog!

Thank you for Comet.. Tell his mom Aurora and his dad Dickens that we are taking really good care of him and we love him.

I am so tempted to get on your waiting list as I read your blogs.. but will wait.
