We had another successful puppy delivery day today with Sky’s puppies. Even little Rita got to go home with the rest of her litter since her new “mom’s” plans changed. But boy, was it cold! It may been 35°.

After I arrived and pottied the pups, got everything ready, then put the pups back in their crate with some “brunch”, everyone started to arrive. Shane’s mom was arriving a bit late because it was the best flight she could find, but we went ahead and started going over things on time. But shortly after she arrived, we were just all too cold! So we grabbed our bags and headed into the Wingate lobby and took over their dining area.

Fortunately, nobody else was there and they didn’t seem to mind. And it was so much warmer.

After we had gone over instructions, health records and answered questions, I went back to the truck and started retrieving bundles of furry cuteness to pass out!

I’m pretty sure it was love at first sight for each family!

Shane, now Maple

Oliver will still be Oliver

Rita is now Grace

And Norman also gets to keep his name!

Then the puppies had another potty and “stretch the legs” break before everyone headed towards home.

My “puppy assistant” came to help again. Actually I think she just wanted to snuggle puppies. 😉

And my shotgun rider joined me today too. So despite the cold, it was a really good day!
