Dog class recap

A couple weeks ago was the end of our beginning dog obedience class. I took Cajsa (German Shepherd) on Tuesday and Justice (the Cavalier) on Thursdays.

It’s just a basic obedience class with a little agility thrown in for fun.

They both attended regularly each week. (Although I could’ve practiced at home more than I did 😉 ) and passed their basic obedience course.

On the last night of class, our instructor holds a CGC test (Canine Good Citizenship). This is an AKC test/certification that a dog can receive if they pass some basic requirements.

Cajsa waiting her turn for the test.

Here is a quick look at the test requirements. And it looks like Justice passed!

He did it!

Cajsa, on the other hand, didn’t pass. But that’s ok, at least now I know what we need to work on!
