Puppy matching is coming!

As most of you know we have scheduled this coming Sunday, April 12th as Puppy Matching Day for Hazel and Gracie’s puppies. (Glory’s pup will be matched April 19th. There is a separate list for hers which I will share next week.)

For those that are new to the list and don’t know how this works, let me explain. (Once you get on our Cavapoo waiting list we do not contact you for a puppy. You will need to watch the available litters and contact us to show your interested in that particular litter/s.) Once you get on our waiting list, it’s your “job” (what a fun job!) to keep track of the litters we have (we post an album for each litter on the website with weekly picture updates, puppy matching date and going home date). If you see a litter or litters that you are interested in, are available for a phone call on that particular puppy matching day and can meet us in Spokane on that’s litter’s puppy delivery day, please email us and we will add you to the list of people interested in that particular litter. (If we have a couple litters born within a week of each other, like Hazel & Gracie’s, we will match all those puppies on the same puppy matching day).

On each litter’s puppy matching day, I will start making phone calls to those that have reached out showing interest that litter and match those puppies. I will call in the order that you are on the waiting list. Once I have all the puppies matched I will send out a group email to those that I wasn’t able to call to let you know all the puppies have been matched. If you didn’t get matched you just keep reaching out to us every time we have a litter available that you are interested in. It’s a process and take patience, but you will get matched with the right puppy at the right time.

Please know that if you recently got on our list there is less of a chance of you being matched with a puppy because there are a lot of people ahead of you, but please reach out anyway if you’re interested and add your name to the list. Many times we get much farther down the list matching puppies then most people think we will.

Here are the names I have so far for Gracie and Hazel’s litter. If you don’t see your name and want to be added please EMAIL ME (don’t just comment on the blog). The names are in no particular order.

HAZEL’S

GRACIE’S

Now for the other important information. With basically everyone living under “stay at home” orders (except for essentials; getting your puppy home is “essential”) it may be easier for those living within driving distance to be matched with the current puppies. If you need to fly here to pick up your puppy, I’m not stopping you from being potentially matched with a puppy. Just realize flying right now may be a bit more challenging and some flights being canceled, airlines are only allowing a small number of pets in cabin per flight, etc.  And the thing I don’t want to see is someone being matched with a puppy and then at the last minute not being able to get here to get their puppy picked up. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this time.
