As most of you yesterday was Puppy Delivery Day for Joy’s litter. But of course, it starts after the sun goes down on Saturday when I give the pups their “beauty treatment”. 😉
Macadamia
Pistachio
Cashew
Pecan
Then it was time to tuck them into bed because morning comes extra early on Sunday.
And what a gorgeous Sunday morning it was!
The drive was uneventful. Puppies usually fuss a bit as we take off down the road, then settle in for a nap.
Once we got there, they had time to stretch their legs, get a drink and a snack since they had breakfast earlier than usual. And then it was time to meet the families!

Our last little girl (Pecan) was going “special delivery” with a flight nanny. This was the first time one of our pups flew home with a flight nanny.
And off they went!
She was great about sending updates and pictures in a group text between herself, Pecan’s new family and me.
Most flight nannies fly stand-by and unfortunately the one connection filled out and she ended up staying the night in a hotel with the pup. She took excellent care of our pup and might have spoiled her just a bit. 😉 (Pecan got to sleep in bed with her!)
Pecan’s new parents were so happy to finally get their little girl into their arms. And we were all thankful for the great care she got in the travel process!
And I might have stopped at Ross on the way home.
😉
P.S. those bags are not filled with things for me…they’re full of puppy/dog toys! 😀
