It’s here

Yep, old man winter has showed up, and with a bang!

This is what my horse thought of all the snow this morning at our 7:30 hoof trimming appointment. 😉

But when you have an appointment to have your horses’ feet trimmed it doesn’t matter if it’s snowing.

I’m so glad yesterday was puppy delivery day and all the pups got safely handed off to their new families before this storm hit.

Like I mentioned in the last couple blog posts, Thursday was our first frost, Friday was our first snow, although Saturday was blue sky and sunshine. Hubby said there was a bit of snow yesterday, but it stopped. Then this morning we woke up to a winter wonderland and it hasn’t stopped snowing.

“Okay, mom. I went potty can we go back inside now?”

We usually pick our apples after the first frost. But since that just happened on Thursday, it looks like we’ll be picking apples in the snow!

And it looks like winter is definitely here to stay!
