Well, I moved Winter and crew up into the puppy room. It was time for them to have more room and be introduced to a crate.
We have the whole room set up just for the puppies. There are crates, puppy pens, toys and all kinds of things for the puppies. And a lot of floor space to play on. Of course, we’ll start with a smaller play area and expand it as they become more reliable with the litter boxes. They’ll come back downstairs to to play and socialize, but this room is created just for them. And it makes it so much easier for me to clean litter boxes since I have a big rubbermaid container and a homemade giant sifter. And I won’t miss the mess the litter box pellets (aka sawdust once it gets wet) made in my living room.
And if they weather warms up when they’re a big older, I’ll start introducing them to going potty outside. Right now, the back yard is full of wet, slushy snow….yuck!
And the puppies got their first introduction to the soft carrier on their trip up the stairs.
