Just for fun

You’ve met the small dogs and puppies of course so just for fun, I thought I’d introduce you to the rest of the “farm”.

“Cajsa” the German Shepherd and Ben’s “back up”. She is young and silly, and very devoted to me. (My husband calls her “Caustic” 😛 )

Gracie and Silver; half-brother and sister. Silver is my trick pony and riding horse (when I ever have time). Gracie is our company horse when we have visitors.

Jester, our little rescue horse who I brought home as a scraggly, pot-bellied weanling. He’s not “rideable” yet as he’s not quite three years old.

“Ben” also know as Benny or Big Ben. He is the protector of the farm, keeping the predators (we have coyotes, bears, cougars, etc) away from the livestock and small dogs.

The “girls” and their man-chicken watching over them. These girls are my composters and producers of farm fresh eggs!

One of the old girls. She had some muck caked on her feet so I brought her in to clean them up.

“Thor-kitty” our elusive tiger cat who keeps to himself (usually in the barn) but sneaks in the house at night for a few minutes of loving after I do chores, them promptly wants back outside.

Thor with his “brother” Zeus. They’re not actually related but both came to us as kittens and have grown up together. Zeus is a big cat and outweighs some of our dogs! He loves to hang out with the puppies when they visit the garden in the summertime.

I know. It’s not a good picture but I couldn’t forget our three goldfish; Michael, Mick, and Rod. (No, they don’t know their names 😉) who keep the horse trough (somewhat) clean.

Hope you enjoyed the tour and meeting the rest of the critters at Pinewood!
