Last night we did an ultrasound to see if we could confirm our next possibly Cavapoo litter. And guess what? We have F1b Cavapoo puppies coming around the first part of September!
I couldn’t get a picture of the ultrasound screen itself, because it took all our hands to hold Miss Wiggyworm still and actually do the ultrasound. But here are our proud parents!
You can see the merling here with her short hair cut. That would be the small black spots and speckles mixed in her gray spots. “Parti” means she is like a pinto pony; white base with colored spots.
Last time we bred her to Sundae who is also a parti. He is white with cream spots. So we got a lot of colors and all the puppies were parti-colored since both parents are parti.
This time we bred her to Clancy who is solid red and does not carry for parti. So we will get solid colors and some “abstract”. Abstract or mismarked are solid colors with white on them (think blazes, white chests and tummies, etc). We could get red, apricot, black or colors like Sage (she was a chocolate-slate colored pup with merling and lightened to silver) I can’t wait to see what she has!
