Growing up!

Indy’s babies are three weeks old yesterday!

Sorry, we’ve been a little quiet on the blog. We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild! So last weekend I headed south to be there for his arrival. It was the most amazing thing ever! We are all so blessed with this precious little bundle.

When I got home, I promptly came down with the cold that hubby had last week. So I’ve been laying kind of low.

But the puppies are doing great! Their eyes and ears are open and we’ve moved them into the puppy pen in the living room so they and mom can have more room. And we’ve introduced them to their first ever litter box!

They had their toenails trimmed again, weights taken and collars changed from ribbons to paracord collars.

And they have names! This theme kind of came to me pretty soon after they were born when I saw all the silvery, blueish, gray colors. And as the pups grew from birth til last week, I did notice our black and white girl starting to show some brown hairs in her ears and cheeks which means she’s actually a tricolor!

So here they are at three weeks of age

“Silver”~merle phantom parti female (red collar)

2# 2 oz

“Pewter”~merle phantom parti female (yellow collar)

1# 9 oz

“Sterling”~merle parti male (gray collar)

1# 8 oz

“Tungsten”~tricolor female (blue/teal collar)

1# 13 oz

“Copper”~blenheim female (orange collar)

1# 15 oz

Aren’t they precious?!❤️
