Well the pups are now in between four and five weeks of age. They are definitely more active and interactive. They are having some short playtime in the living room with different toys, textures, noises and such. Mom is usually outside on potty breaks during this time but since it’s cold she doesn’t stay out for long. So in order for the pups to enjoy some playtime, I usually contain Winter in a crate so they can play and explore alone. If I were to let Winter join them at this age, they would just start nursing immediately since that’s still the first thing on their mind.

And since we are matching them this Sunday, I’m taking notes and making observations that I’ll share (likely in Friday’s post) so the family’s on our list can have that information before matching day.
