They conquered the ramp

So I introduced the ramp to the puppies.  Since the pen is door is eight inches from the floor, the pups need a way to get in and out of the pen. Years ago hubby built a wooden ramp and covered it with carpet. Each litter learns how to get down it and then back up. This way they have access to their “home” and their play area.

When I first introduce the ramp, I use our big stuffed snake “Snuggles” to wrap around behind and beside the ramp. That way if the pups happened to go off the edge as they learn to navigate it, they have a soft landing. The first time they were pretty tentative, but they all figured it out. Flurry was first, then Frost, then Blizzard, then Storm and lastly the petite princess, Snowflake. Honestly it didn’t take long for any of them to figure it out.

And then they were off to explore and play!

Later I went upstairs to check on them. They had all made it back up the ramp, went into their crate and snuggled down for a nap!

Perfect❤️
