I’m trying to get caught up on grooms for the dogs who didn’t go to the groomer last time. First in line was Lyric because she’s our next expectant mama!

I’m so looking forward to see what she and Dickens produce this time! As I mentioned in a precious post, it’s been two years since Lyric had a litter. I know what colors they can produce but of course we never know what we’ll get until they show up! I’m as excited as a kid on Christmas morning!

So she first got a bath, then dried by the wood stove for most of the day, with the dryer on low to help the process.

Then I took her to my grooming station and starting with clipper her shorter, trimming toenails, those hairy Poodle ears and spiffing her up a bit.

(okay, not my best groom job but she’s clean and ready)

Now she can lounge around until delivery day sipping doggie seltzers and munching on expensive cheese and puppy crackers. 😉 hehe
