Cami had her spa day in preparation for her puppy delivery.

We kind of have a big window of possible delivery dates because of how many times she and Bo “dated”. *wink, wink*

Average gestation for a dog is 63 days but obviously it can be sooner than that or go a bit over. I like to have them underfoot and where I can watch them constantly from about Day 57 or 58 from the first breeding. Sunday was day 63 from the first breeding. But next Saturday is Day 63 from the last breeding, so anytime this week we could see puppies arriving.

But I regress….

I wanted her all bathed and trimmed up a bit before the big day. So she had her bath, toenails trimmed, ear cleaned and a bit of hair trimmed at the beauty parlor. The home beauty parlor. I don’t take pregnant girls to the actual groomer. There’s a chance they could pick up something or be exposed to something there. And I’m not taking any chances with my mom and babies.

Hopefully, she doesn’t go outside and roll in the dirt now!
