Casanova turns seven (weeks old)!

Our adorable singleton Casanova turned seven weeks old today. He’s a busy, happy boy! And even though our time with him is winding down, he still has lots to learn, explore, and practice in this next ten days or so with us.

He’s curious, playful, silly, sweet, adventurous but I can also pick him up and he’ll hand out in my arms just chill and relaxed. He’s just a well rounded boy!

He has no fear running up to the big dogs to say “HI!” He loves running around the yard or garden and exploring. He LOVES playing with his mom and she’s still happy to play with him. At this age or point in puppyhood, some moms are just tired of puppy nonsense and want to get away. But Lyric is teaching him how to play with other canines; what’s okay and wha’t not okay in dog play and language. This is so important for a puppy, especially a singleton.

He’s learning to sleep by himself and weaned off mom’s milk, but he still likes to sneak a sip when mom stops playing for a minute.

We’re just having a lot of fun with him and I know we’ll miss him when he goes home. But I know his new mom is super excited to get him home too! Stay tuned for more Casanova adventures!
