Indy’s puppies are growing, learning and exploring. They are having fun playing in the house and also going outside usually in the afternoon when it warms up.

Here’s some of the things we’ve been up too with the pups.

The sound app gives us a chance to expose them to different sounds that they might not hear here, but might hear when they move to town or a big city. I usually do this when I’m cleaning in the morning and they are having breakfast.

We’ve been having one-on-one time so they get used to being away from each other in preparation of them each going to their new homes.

We’ve been practicing being on the table (for future times they might be on the vet or groomer’s table) and using the slicker brush to get them used to the brushing process. Cavapoos need to be brushed often to prevent matting. While they’re on the table I also touch them all over their body, their feet, their ears, eyes and mouth. These are things they will need to be used to when having a vet exam or being handled and groomed later in life. They also got their toenails trimmed again. Something they’ve had done every week since they were one week old.
