Our Cavaliers turned seven weeks old today! They’re getting so grown up and fun!

Today we did weights, trimmed nails and took new pictures.

We also worked on the table going over each pup; eyes, ears, mouth etc like the vet or groomer might. They got brushed with the slicker brush and introduced to the cheese treat for training purposes. I usually start off with the canned cheese because most puppies like it and they can just lick a little dab off my finger as a reward.

They had some crate practice while they waited for me too.

Then we went out to take pictures. It was another typical Washington spring day as it went from sunny, to rainstorm and back again. So in between showers, we made a trip to the barn for our photo shoot.

Then we had a wheelbarrow ride to the garden for a bit of playtime.

Later we had a surprise visit from some dear friends that used to live in our area. These “kids” were all so young when they moved away and now they youngest is a sophomore in high school!

So the puppies got to meet some new people today too! ❤️
