Kind of quiet around here

Sorry, I haven’t been posting a lot. Just slowed down on the blog to enjoy springtime (my favorite time of year)  and deal with the day to day chores and the ongoing training of these three puppies. (We still have one boy Cavalier available to the right home).

Although we’ve had a special friend come and stay a couple weeks, we’ve gone out of town for the weekend for my soon-to-be DIL’s college graduation, we’ve had to make a special trip to Spokane to the Animal Eye Clinic for Ben (that’ll be another post).

The puppies are all sleeping in individual puppy pens at night. They eat in their own crate and sometimes they eat together if I leave them outside for lunch. To make things more interesting I’ve used some puzzles and a slow-feeder blow to make lunch more interesting and give their brains something to figure out (with an instant reward of food and added tiny pieces of chicken).

They’ve got to experience rain and the sprinkler as they “help” me water the garden and run around it exploring.

They’ve met the cats, the chickens and one of the horses, up close and personal.

They’ve figured out the stairs; the few on the front porch and ones by the back door and going up to the puppy room. (Although Bo has yet to come down the big stairs, he knows how to go up)

And with their garden play area located where it is, they’ve seen/heard the push lawn mower, the bigger riding lawn mower, the diesel truck, other vehicles, four-wheeler and the tractor. And have no problem with the deep, barks of the big dogs sporadically barking at things all day. (The bear came back for another visit, but it was way in the back field).

Can you see him?

Anyways, that’s what we’ve been up to!😊
