Well, I finally blocked off this week to get the dogs all groomed.

Monday my goal was to bathe Shiloh, Lyric, Indy and Sasha. And then Reba got added to the mix because she likes to got sun herself in the back yard and then finish by rolling in the dirt and weeds!

Might as well nap while they wait their turn.

After they air-dried, it was time to clip the three. I was covered in dog hair by the end of the day. But at least day one was in the books!

Tuesday, my aim was to get Winter, Sky, Summer and Quinn bathed. I got them done, then let them air dry. First I groomed Winter, then Sky and then just as I was started Summer, my clippers started giving me issues. The blade was getting dull. Ugh! I managed to plug my way through with a lot of Cool Lube and clipper oil. The groom wasn’t pretty, but at least I got her done.

But there went my week’s plan of getting everyone up to date. I still have some that just need bath’s but I still have four that need to be groomed. And I’ve yet to find a local place to sharpen blades so I just ordered another set. Now I just have to wait for my order and finish the rest of the hairy beasts!
