The puppies have graduated to a bigger play space! I like to start small so they have less chance of accidents; because, hey, puppies make mistakes as they’re learning. We won’t to give them every opportunity to get things right. As they mature and their potty skills get more accurate, I like to give them more play space (and I include more litter boxes too).

And I introduced them to the ramp. I use the big stuffed snake around the bottom of the ramp should they misstep and fall off the side so they have a soft landing. Some of they come right out and start playing, others wait and watch before they tentatively climb down the ramp. Noah was the first one out and Simone was our “watch and wait” girl. I finally scooped her up and put her out in the play area. Sometimes it’s easy to learn going up the ramp first.

And you can see why the carpet on the ramp looks like it needs to be replaced. Everyone thinks it’s the funnest thing to chew and tug on!
