We’ve gotten a ton of interest in our sweet, little Cole. But as of this post, nothing serious and he is still available.
But don’t worry, he’s having a blast being the “only” puppy here. Or I guess I should say only little puppy. Because along with trying to socialize and potty train Cole, the Cavaliers (Legend and Laney) are still “in training” too. They’re just at a different, easier (sometimes) stage.
But he’s having fun with me “helping” with chores (in his backpack when I need both hands) or in my arms, or running at my feet depending on what chores we’re doing.

In the house, he follows me around and we go outside for potty breaks.

And sometimes he spends time in his puppy pen when I can’t watch him. That way if he has to potty he can use the litter box. And learning to be content in his pen as I go in and out of the room, he learns that it’s no big deal. This helps to prevent separation anxiety. Don’t fuss over your puppy when you leave it or come back. Whether that is leaving the room or actually leaving the house and then coming back home. When we make a big deal of our coming and going it can heighten a puppy’s anxiety and then it does turn into a big deal for you puppy.
Being in the pen is not his favorite and he still cries some at night mostly but he’s learning the ropes.
So don’t be sad that Cole is here by “himself”. His littermates are going through the same transition too. And he’s getting lots of love and attention from us.
