The dogs and I had a nice, quiet afternoon hanging out in the yard together. But before I let them all out, I have to put the big dogs away. Because even though the big dogs are here to protect the little dogs, they don’t like when the little dogs invade “their” space aka yard. Then I have to make sure all the gates are secure and put a couple pieces of wood under the main gate because Lyric and Oakley like to try to sneak out of the small spaces and go exploring further out.

And don’t mine the country dogs. They are all in need of bathes and some haircuts but they are happy just the same. It’s just hard to keep a dog clean in the country when we’re surrounded by dirt! And unfortunately our well does not supply enough water for us to water lawn.
