Things that are different

I’ve always been a bit of an oddball. I love things that were different and unique especially when it comes to animals.

My first pony had big spots. My second pony had little spots. My first horse had a stripe down her back and on her legs.

When I feel in love with Shetland Sheepdogs and starting raising, showing and doing rescue it wasn’t the beautiful brown and white aka sable “Lassie” dogs that I feel in love with like the majority of people. It was the AOAC (any other allowed color) which meant the bi-blacks, tricolors, blue merles and bi-blues.

So as much as everyone (myself included) love the solid apricot and red Cavapoos, I’m really drawn to a litter of parti-colored pups or “cows” as we sometimes refer to them.

You never know what pattern, color or combination of colors you’ll get until they are born.

I love every little spot, freckle and patch of uniqueness!
