Indy babies are five weeks old now! Puppy matching is this Sunday. I’m excited to make phone calls and start matching these cuties with their new excited families!

Silver~merle phantom parti female (red collar)

2# 13 oz

Pewter~merle phantom female (yellow collar)

2# 5 oz

Sterling~merle parti male (gray collar)

2# 3 oz

Tungsten~tricolor female (blue collar)

2# 13 oz

Copper~blenheim female (orange collar)

2# 13 oz

I’m guessing that Silver, Tungsten and Copper will be in the average adult Cavapoo range of 15-20 lbs (probably 16-18ish) as adults. Pewter and Sterling are smaller build and likely be smaller adults. I’m guesstimating them to mature in the 12-15 lb range.

Usually there’s a pack leader; first one out of the pen, first to investigate a new toy, boldest, bravest puppy. Personalities are still emerging and I should have more notes on that by Sunday’s matching.

On the other end of the spectrum, there’s usually one or two puppies who sit back and watch before they dive into something new. A bit more cautious and chill. Right now that is Copper.

Then the rest fall in the middle of the pack between those two.

Also, all three merles seem to have curly to extra wavy coats. Where our tricolor and blenheim have coats more like an F1 Cavapoo. This is about the normal ratio to curly and F1 type coats that we get within an F1b litter.
