Puppies and I have been practicing some things. It’s good for puppies to practice being on a table for later when they will go to the vet or groomer. So we practice being on the table for brushing and handling. They’ve also had their toenails trimmed weekly, I’ve trimmed around their hairy eyes/bridge of nose a couple times and they had a sanitary trim with the clippers around their hairy little bums!

And since there are noises all around this big world, we’re trying to introduce the puppies to lots!

There’s the noisy shop vac that we use in the puppy room.

The dog dryer that I use for grooming. I set it on low and pointed it at their play zone. I then encouraged them over to the area and rewarded them with lots of love and treats.

They had their first sanitary trim with the clippers.

It has all kinds of sounds that the puppies might not normally hear way out here in the country, but they might hear in their new cities and towns.We’re learning and having fun!
