So the reason Coco and I went to town (beside the socialization) was Miss Sky and her daughter Miss Summer went to the vet that morning (hubby dropped them off early) and I was picking them up in the afternoon.

Sky retired a while back, but I had yet to get her spayed. So she is now spayed and after I get her back in next month to have her teeth cleaned, she will be ready for a retirement home and a comfy couch. 😉

And unfortunately Summer was spayed also. I raised her from a puppy hoping to add her to our breeding program, but it wasn’t to be. She has one slightly loose patella so she won’t becoming a mamma. But she’ll make an amazing pet and companion for someone looking for a silly, sweet Poodle! She is ready for a new home within the next couple weeks after she has recuperated from her spay surgery.

So for now, the girls are enjoying their convalescence in their crates next to the cozy wood stove with plenty of chewies to keep them happy. They’re in crates because we have to limit their activity after surgery.
