Family time

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did, and then took a couple days off social media.

We went to our kids house and visited the new grand baby and spent time with our DIL’s family on Thanksgiving. There was lots of good company and yummy food.

We decided to spend the night so my SIL was gracious enough to agree to take care of things at home on Thursday night and Friday morning so we didn’t have to rush home. And to make things easier, we took Coco with us!

We were going to take Rousey (my kids’ Boxer) and Coco with us, but someone brought their dog unexpectedly so we decided to leave our two at the kids’ house. I didn’t want to potty Coco out in the back yard with a strange dog.

So we went up her exercise pen, crate, litter box and a bunch of toys in the basement and let her hang out there while we went for dinner with the relatives.

Later when we came home she we had potty times out in the back yard and hung out with us that evening as we relaxed and watched a movie.

She played with her cousin Rousey and had lots of practice hanging out in her puppy pen too. She also had her first experience with walking and going potty on a leash and learning to potty on the rocks (because my son doesn’t want spot in his lawn). 😉 So Coco had lots of new experiences. But she was happy to get home and race around her own big back yard off the leash!
