Speaking of Dickens

Since I mentioned Dickens in yesterday’s post it got me thinking about his progeny and how many of my current dogs are part of his “family”.

The current dogs (excluding Dickens) in my breeding program (or future “hopefuls”) are (boys); Clancy, Bonus, Asher and Legend. The girls include; Lyric, Sasha, Shiloh, Laney, Winter, Cami, and Indy.

Okay, so Poodles are obviously excluded from being related to Dickens (Clancy, Bonus, Lyric and Sasha). Asher is not related, but all of the rest are! And why I keep good records so I know who is related to whom when I’m matching up dogs for future puppies.

Shiloh is Dickens grand-daughter. Which makes her son and daughter (Legend and Laney) Dickens great-grand”kids”.

Winter is Dickens daughter from Sky.

Cami is Dickens granddaughter. Her mom was Joy, Dickens daughter.

And Indy is Dickens daughter with Lyric.

Dickens is a legend at Pinewood. 😉

Milo’s daddy! (Erik from the Viking litter). Can’t wait to see Sasha’s puppies, I would so LOVE to get another one 😩, especially one that would be a full sibling, but younger.

Dickens couldn’t be more handsome. What a blessing to Pinewood Cavapoos and your family!

Jaxon is the son of Sundae (mom) and Glory (sire) and Sterling’s sire is Bonus and his mom is Indy. Is Indy daughter, granddaughter or a “great” of Dickens? And how might Sundae fit in to this wonderful heritage?
