Slower than….

The Poodles are three weeks old today and cute as can be! They got their teeny toenails trimmed, pictures taken and weights done. They are now between one pound fifteen ounces and one pound seven ounces. They’ve stayed the same order of size since birth. The merle girl is the biggest, the boy is just below her and the parti is definitely our small, petite girl. I’m guessing she’ll end up small like mom. And the little waves are getting more prominent in their coats and their colors are all so unique!

Later today I’ll be moving them into the puppy pen and introducing them to their first litter box!

And we have names! Thanks to our friend Adele and fellow Pinewood “mom”, she suggested this theme. It’s very appropriate since Lyric took her slow, sweet time to birth those babies! 😉

Meet….

“Maple” (merle female)

1# 15 oz

“Molasses” (black & tan male)

1# 14 oz

“Honey” (apricot parti female)

1# 9 oz

There will probably be a pup (or two) available from this litter. Likely Maple will be staying possibly Molasses, but I’m guessing Honey will be too small to work in our program. If you’re interested in being on a list for possible matching please reach out!

❤️
