Yesterday was a busy day as Lyric and Cami’s puppies all had their health check-ups!

They had a busy morning at home first with breakfast, playtime, then lunch and potty breaks before they were loaded into crates in the truck and we hit the road. The vet is over an hour drive away. Some of them fussed for a bit as we started the drive, but eventually settled down and took naps.

Once we got there, I let the staff know we had arrived. Then I went back out and put the pups in the back of the truck with the litter boxes so they could potty before we went inside.

I finally got smart and brought my wagon this time so I didn’t have to carry in a heavy crate full of puppies! What a lifesaver that thing is.

Made it home safely and since the pups were in their crates for a long time with all the driving and the appointment, they were rewarded with some free time in the garden. And I relaxed and watched them play for a while. We’d all had a long day!
