Busy, busy!

The week has been busy and it’s not slowing down!

Today I’m wrapping up all the puppy packets of information, filling out health records, filling puppy bags and finishing snuggle blankets.

Puppies are enjoying another day out in the fresh air and sunshine while my sweet SIL and I do some overdue work in the garden. She volunteered to come help. I just don’t have a lot of energy (wish I could hook into the puppies’ supply…lol) and when he heard I still haven’t gotten everything planted she said she’d help.

Shiloh’s pups are growing like gangbusters! I’ve finally pulled out the big, quilted pad that has been covering the bottom of the pen. They’re big enough now for a bed and their first litter box. Shiloh is such a good and attentive mother. But she is enjoying more breaks away from her brood.

I’ll get the puppies toenails trimmed and clean up around the hairy face/eye area today. Then tomorrow night they will get baths in preparation for our early Sunday morning departure.

But it won’t be quiet when I get home. Molasses is still available and here, Maple is staying on as a future Pinewood parent (hopefully someday), Honey is staying another ten days  and Mr. Tater Tot is also staying for almost three more weeks in our new “board and train” aka Progressive Puppy Program where we’ll continue to work on puppy training and socializing. (Well, actually I’ll be working on that for all four of them!)

I’m so looking forward to the Sabbath rest tomorrow. I’ll listen to church online and lounge in my chair in the sun and just watch puppies be puppies!
