A special package was delivered yesterday! Little Honey went home to her new family. And my friend graciously agreed to be the flight nanny to get Honey to her new mom!

Honey and I were up at just after the sun yesterday morning and headed down the road about an hour later to make it to the airport on time. Thankfully the drive went well and we got there before my friend. So Honey had time to potty and stretch her legs a bit.

Then it was time to hand her off!

My friend Kristy made sure to send updates and pictures to me and Honey’s mom in a group text throughout the day.

And then she was finally in her new “mom’s” arms!

And the last message on the text says it all “Thanks so much Jennifer & Kristy .

I’m in love with her already ❤️❤️”
