Happy birthday, queen!

The queen of Pinewood turns fourteen today!

And she deserves to nap as much as she wants.

She was a great mother to her puppies and a wonderful surrogate mom to Hope when she was a struggling baby.

She’s showing her age with loss of hearing, graying hair and lumps and bumps on her body. But she’s still got a good appetite, loves going outside to explore and always happy for a cuddle.

She’s definitely a mama’s girl too. <3

I got Reba from another breeder when she was about two years old. She was very quiet and stoic at first. But that’s pretty normal when you adopt an adult dog. It takes about three months before they feel like they are “home”.

Her ad picturešŸ˜ how could you not fall in love with that beauty!

Little did I know that my new little nine pound Poodle would start scaling five foot fences like Alex Honnold climbing El Cap! And then worm her way into my heart because I had to keep her in the house 24/7 to keep her safe.

Now she sleeps with me every night and will until we say good-bye someday.
