Dally is learning her new normal without brother, Bruno around. She’s a bit unhappy when she has to stay in her pen by herself and vocalizes all about it. But when she settles down, then I give her some attention.

You don’t ever want to reward your puppy’s cries and whines with attention. Or they’ve trained you to reward them with attention when they fuss.

So she’s spending her day sometimes in her pen, sometimes in her crate, sometimes loose in the kitchen while I work, interspersed with lots of potty breaks outside.

Auntie Hope is keeping her company. Hope will go in any open crate for a nap.

And of course, lots of love and attention.
