Winter and her puppies are all settled in the puppy room upstairs. We have a whole room over the top of our garage (accessed through the laundry room which is off the kitchen) that we’ve fixed up just for puppies!

I will be getting a lot more steps in every day going up and down those stairs throughout the day!

Their main area is a bigger puppy pen with two litter boxes and a crate as I mentioned previously.

And then I set up a small play area for them to explore and play in while mom is outside on her breaks which are getting longer and longer.

I always start with a small area to make sure they are doing well finding the litter boxes. Then I’ll start enlarging the area as they mature and get more accurate with the boxes. And I’ll add the ramp so they can access the puppy pen too. Right now they’re still small enough that I haven’t added the ramp.

I have oodles of toys and fun things in the puppy room so we can swap out new things for them to enjoy almost every day!
