Faithful friends

I was able to sneak away for a couple of days to help watch my sweet grandson! His other grandma lives five minutes away so on days when mommy and daddy’s schedules have them both working the same day, “grammy” pops on over to watch him.

It’s a bit harder for me to get away with all the critters and puppies that I’m working with throughout the day, but I decided to leave that all to hubby to tend to and go anyways. So I drove to their home Sunday evening so I’d be there for the parent’s early departure Monday morning for work. Hubby possibly had jury duty on Tuesday, but wouldn’t find out until after 5pm on Monday. So I was planning on driving home Monday night after my daughter got home from work. But hubby found out he was off the hook for his Tuesday call.

So I stayed the night and watched the wee one for a few more hours before his other grandma came. Then I packed up and headed out. And since I was already in Spokane, I did a bit of shopping on my way home.

And this is what met me when I pulled up in front of the house. Can you see the three furry head at the window? It’s Reba, Cami and Winter on the back of the couch staring at me through the window.

And this is what meets me when I opened the truck door.

Aren’t dogs great and faithful companions?! <3
