“Hi Jennifer,
I know occasionally you post updates on former puppies so if you want one see below (no pressure). I hope you are doing well! Regardless I can safely say Zoe, formerly Freedom, is living her best life.
Zoe (from Poppy’s Independence litter) is truly living her best life. She goes on 8-mile jogs several times a week, often leaving her owner trying to keep up. She’s even managed to catch two birds and three bunnies—an impressive record for a suburban pup.
Once a week, Zoe heads to doggy daycare where she enjoys playing with other dogs and occasionally participating in themed costume days. These events always result in some very cute photos for her owner’s collection.
Zoe’s adventurous side hasn’t faded—she’s still quite the escape artist. After one too many solo outings, her owner had to rebuild the backyard fence to keep her safely contained.
At home, Zoe is a cuddle companion and a playful friend to her owner’s niece and nephew. She’s especially fond of the nephew—he’s got the goods: doughnuts, crackers, cheese… basically, he’s her personal snack dealer.
She’s also developed a clever morning routine: as soon as her owner gets up at 4 a.m. for a daily 5 a.m. meeting, Zoe hops right into the warm spot and steals the pillow for a few extra hours of cozy sleep.
The only thing Zoe doesn’t love? When her owner travels without her. During those times, she stays with her dog friend Walter or goes to a local boarding facility—where she’s so well-loved that the staff often bring her along on their daily rounds.
Luckily, Zoe’s a pro traveler and once a year makes the trip to her owner’s parents’ place, where she reunites with their two dogs for some serious squirrel-chasing and backyard shenanigans.
In short: Zoe is thriving. She’s fast, smart, and full of personality—and her owner knows just how lucky they are to have her.”
