Health testing

We want our parent dogs to be healthy to produce healthy puppies for our adopters. So exams and tests are done to ensure that we have healthy dogs.

Our adult dogs (Poodles, Cavaliers, and Cavapoos) are routinely checked for normal (OFA standards) hearts and patellas. If they don’t pass, they are not used for breeding. We use a veterinary ophthalmologist in Spokane for CERF eyes exams. We also do genetic testing on our dogs through Paw Print Genetics (or they are “clear” through parentage).

We no longer post OFA certifications on our website and scam and unscrupulous breeders have stolen our them and posted them as their own.

    Hi Jennifer,

Will you be updating this certification page soon (in all your spare time)… ? I’m sure all of your breeding age pups have had, and passed, their health screenings but it’s nice to be able to refer to this post rather than bother you if I want to check the certs of a particular litter’s parents.
