Dr visit

Friday was our appointment for Lucy and her puppies to have their check-up at the doctor’s.

Everyone was loaded up in the truck and off we went. There was a bit of fussing (which is quite normal), then they all settled in for the hour-plus ride to the vet’s office.

First, Lucy had her yearly exam and checked out wonderfully!

Then each puppy got their time on the table with Dr. Jess as she checked from head to toe, took temperature’s, looked in ears, checked joints, listened to their little thumping hearts and even checked the boys to make sure they had both boy “parts” (oh, my!) They all passed with flying colors. We had already taken a stool sample in to be checked earlier in the week which was negative. So I took the opportunity to bring sample’s from Mercy’s pups and Oakley’s with me and they were negative for parasites too.

Afterwards, we went to the truck for a potty break before the long drive home.

The bathroom was full and Willy couldn’t wait! 😉

Ouch, Johnny!
