Seriously, my living room is full of puppies. Two puppy pens and a large crate for Lyric and her brood fills up our space. The wood stove in the middle of them all keeps us cozy and comfy. And Hope happily snoring on the mini tramp completes the picture.
But even though the pups are happiest cuddled up to mama, it’s important to get them out so we can have some one-on-one time with them. It gets them started with the separation process from mom, their littermates and eventually when their new owners leave them for short periods.
Some are happy to lay in my lap fairly quietly, others struggle (it usually depends on the age and stage they’re at) so this is something we’ll keep doing with them until they go home.
So excuse the silly pictures as it’s a bit challenging to hold a little puppy with one hand and the camera with the other.
