Glory’s babies are five weeks old and getting more playful. They are still the most comfortable in their play pen. You can see also, that we have switched them to the regular litter box from the UGOdog.

When pups are this age, it’s helpful to have the bed on one side of the pen and the litter box filling up the other half. If we move them to a big area too soon, they are likely to have more accidents. I want them to know and use the litter box consistently before giving them a bigger area. If we give them too much space too soon (and this also applies to people getting a new puppy home) they have a bigger likelihood of missing the box.
Bright is definitely our most adventurous pup in the batch.

In fact, when I put them in they play area in the living room she was content for a while and then started looking for a way to escape.

“What, mom? I’m being good.”

But they had fun playing in this new little area. (We usually have a big chair here but it got moved so there was room for the Christmas and still hasn’t been moved back.)
They had a lot of fun, but were very happy when mom returned too 😉
And now for the official five-week-old portraits!
