I’m so happy that spring is finally here!. I’m pretty sure every last snow pile has finally melted. The little sprouts of grass are coming up. My daffodils are blooming and the birds are looking for nesting spots.
But it’s still pretty chilly out most days.
Hubby has cleaned out most of the garden beds. And the garlic I planted last fall is several inches tall now.
Journey and I went exploring the other day, trying to envision where to plant what and when I should start putting some cool weather plants and seeds in. Peas, lettuce, chard, kale and those types like the cooler weather. We won’t put our tomato plants out until the end of May.
I can’t wait to get my hands in some dirt and start gardening for the year!
